The holiday season is officially over, so we’re all slowly recovering from the onslaught of craziness that is the holiday season. I wanted to give a special thank you to our two holiday helpers who came in to help out with phones, orders, packing, box making and just about everything else you can think of.

First to help out was our longtime buddy, Samm Diep. For the second year in a row, Samm came in after Black Friday to pitch in wherever she was needed including making an obnoxiously large and unstable box structure in my office (we were sharing space). She stayed until December 16th, at which point we brought in the closer, Megan Ihle to wrap up the season.

Unfortunately, this is probably going to be the last year that Megan helps us out during the holidays. She’ll be shuffling back off to Wyoming next week to finish up her final year at law school, which means next season she’ll probably be a little too busy to lend a hand.

Thanks again to everyone (both our customers and our employees) for making this the best holiday season yet! See ya’ll in 2010!

Its official. The grumpy munchkin is now officially representing PoolDawg for the 2009 WPBA season. Since she did such a nice job for us at the Great Lakes Classic and the Borderline Billiards event, we thought we’d make it official and bring her on for the rest of the year. Here’s the official press release:

After much work, our new PoolDawg is up and running. We’re still working out some of the visual bugs (including a wierd IE6 browser issue), but the site is up and running.

In addition to the new look of the site, we also have a brand new search tool thanks to our friends over at SLI Systems.

They’re the technology behind the search for sites like Tupperware, Symantec, Jelly Belly and American Bridal, and now they’re powering the PoolDawg search. Pretty crazy, right? At any rate, give it a try and let us know what you think.
