What is a Sneaky Pete?

The Sneaky Pete or Hustler cue is the oldest and most traditional design for a two piece cue. The original concept for the Sneaky Pete was to create a cue that would look like a standard bar cue 
when assembled. That way, if a pool hustler was using a high end cue, his opponents would see his cue and just assume it was a bar cue. An example of a sneaky pete cue is the Meucci 9701 pictured here.
Today, fewer people buy Sneaky Pete cues for the sole purpose of hustling unsuspecting pool players. Because of the traditional style and inherent beauty of the Sneaky Pete, it remains one of the most popular and best selling pool cue design styles on the market today.
I recently inherited a Sneaky Pete style cue from my grandfather. I need to know if there is a way to determine what brand and model it is. The main reason of the stick is to be generic looking therefore there are no markings anywhere on it. I know he was a great pool player for a long time and it comes in a Joe Porper classic case which I found online for $130(list price). I’m assuming if he spent that much on the case that the stick has to be pretty nice, plus he always seemed to buy the best of everything. Can you help me determine what model it is?
